Please note that the following two important notices must be given:

At the 18 hours’ notice or more, please state the following:

1. Vessels name, call sign and IMO number
2. ETA to the pilot boarding position
3. Pilot boarding position
4. GT, draught, length and beam
5. Speed (sea speed if Deep Sea Pilotage)
6. Pilot disembarkation position
   Please state if “non-stop” pilotage is requested 
   (Skagen - Gedser/Bornholm or visa-versa)
7. Additional information e.g.: Scheduled bunkering operations or stop for stores/provision en route including geographical position, quantity and estimated turnaround

At the 4 hours’ notice, please state the following

1. Please verify your ETA on VHF working ch or e-mail

Please note: At certain weather and ice conditions boarding can take place at another position given by the pilot station.

Additional information

1. Deep Sea Pilotage Service in the Baltic Sea
   DanPilot have licensed pilots available for any port in the Baltic Sea. Therefore, please state your requirements in your 18 hours’ notice
2. Non-stop Deep Sea Pilotage Services
   Is available from Skagen to Gedser/Bornholm or reverse

It is possible to change crew and load/unload small packages in connection with pilot embarkation or disembarkation. However, there will be an hourly charge due to the extra staff, handling expenses, and insurance etc. The rate charged is DKK 2,864 (equal to EU 384.98 – exchange rate as of 1st June, 2010) per hour per operation. 

If DanPilot pilot boats are ordered for other purposes than embarkation/disembarkation of pilots, a fee of DKK 2,864 (equal to EU 384.98 - exchange rate as of 1st June, 2010) will be charged per running hour.
