New rating book for DanPilot

A new DanPilot rating book will come into effect per 1 October 2009, and it adjusts the rates so that they will be more transparent, easier to calculate and reflect the actual costs related to the specific pilot assistance.

The main points of the new rating book are:

• Calculation of rates has been simplified but still relates to the actual vessels size, draught and the mileage of the route. The calculation model is simple and easy to use for anyone needing to calculate a rate, and to make it even easier DanPilot will provide a rate calculator on its homepage www.danpilot.dk per 1 October 2009
• Rates are now calculated on the same basis for all types of pilotage

DanPilot is still a non-profit public organisation, offering pilotage service in all Danish waters and to any ports in the Baltic Sea. DanPilot will continue to perform pilotage at the highest quality level, and we look forward to carry on assisting you.
